Ensenada Outreach Center
The Ensenada Outreach Center exists to carry out the Outreach ministry of YUGO, so that lives are transformed by Jesus Christ in Mexico and the World. Our desire at the EOC is to provide opportunities, facilitate community, and to be a part of God’s transforming work of in Ensenada.
We partner with the Church, and promote opportunities to proclaim the Gospel.
The EOC camp is located in a small, quiet suburb of Ensenada, called Chapultepec. The villages and communities we serve are further south in the fields and rural areas on the outskirts of Ensenada. There is much work that needs be done in these communities.
The EOC is committed to the ideal that all of our work will be done through the local church, with local support and leadership. We have, and continue to develop, strong connections with pastors, churches, and civic leaders throughout the area.
The EOC is a base for many programs, ministry teams, and activities. One of the ministries that we are very passionate about is our team ministry. Through our team ministry, we host teams who are participating in short term missions trips. Teams can build houses, run children’s programs, serve in feeding ministries, encourage pastors... and the list goes on and on. We provide the facilities and program as well as organize the ministry opportunities so that these teams can have a fantastic, effective ministry experience.
When we are not hosting teams, the EOC staff is busy serving and working. Through ongoing mercy ministries, equipping the local pastors, working with local government services, and hosting local Mexican groups, we are continually engaging in the community, and striving to be the hands and feet of Jesus here in Ensenada. There are many ways, aside from sending a team, that you can support these efforts.
