Become an Intern

Interested in spending a month, a summer, or a year serving with a YUGO Ministry? Maybe you are looking for a change in the regular grind of life...maybe you have graduated from high school and not sure of what’s next...or maybe you are a student looking for an opportunity to be a part of something significant for your summer...

Our INTERN PROGRAMS are geared toward young people in late high school - post-highschool - college ages.  If you are wanting to spend your summer or part of your year in Mexico, maybe an internship is for you! Interns serve at the mission centers, help with teams, participate in outreach opportunities, care for the children, and get to have a great cultural experience! Most of our intern programs also include times of discipling, Bible studies, fellowship, and community!

The following are the internship programs currently available:

EOC 6 Month Internship - (February - August) A time of both service and training at the Ensenada Outreach Center. You will help with camp duties, hosting teams, building houses, children's programs, orphanages, and so much more! The program also includes times of Bible study, teaching, mentorship, and discipling. You will live in community at the EOC base with interns from Canada, the U.S., and Mexico. This servant leadership training program will be a great time of equipping for you and your faith!  For more of a glimpse into the EOC internship program, check out this video

Grace Babies Home (2-12 months) - GBH is looking for young women to invest time in caring for orphan babies as an intern at GBH. An intern lives in the baby home and helps in the daily care and nurturing of the babies (feeding, changing, bathing). She assists in circle time and preschool activities, with cleaning and organization, and is counted on to pitch in with the night shift. Interns are mentored and discipled by our Intern Coordinator. They meet weekly to debrief, pray, and study God’s Word.
