“Baskets of Love & Hope”

Romans 12:10-13
Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.

Brenda Barnes, Women’s Ministry coordinator of the Ensenada Outreach Center is creating

“Baskets of Love & Hope” for the families of those who receive the homes our teams build.

Your team can provide a family a gift basket that is made up of donations either brought down by teams just like yours and/or items purchased at the local Segunda. Even if your team is not building a home, you can either purchase a gift basket or you can help by donating supplies.

Typical “Basket” consists of:
Container: A tote, a laundry basket, metal basket or a suitcase
Kitchen supplies: Dish towels, curtains, tablecloths, napkins & washcloths
Front Room: Curtains (lace) and pillows
Bedroom: Curtains, pillow cases, sheets, bed spread and blanket
Children’s Room: – Twin Bed spreads sheets & pillowcases, Toy’s for the Children, back packs,
school supplies, sleeping bags.

Brenda Barnes assembles each “basket” in a beautifully displayed container, layered room by room, color coordinated and prepared personally for
each family that is prepared for.

How can you help? $ 100.00 for a family of 5 (larger families we would combine box sizes).
