YUGO Special Funds
Barnabas
Health Fund
This fund, named after the "Son of
Encouragement" is a great blessing to YUGO missionaries.
Donations are used to help with the high cost of health insurance for
all of our full time missionaries. If we were to receive more we
could include all of their family members as well. We ask
individuals or groups to provide $15.00 per month.

Tijuana
Outreach Center (TJOC) Fund
Nearly 60 teams went out from this
center in the past year to present the gospel to 60 mission stations
around the Tijuana and Rosarito areas. Other groups went to nearby
areas to build houses for the poor. Also, the Grace Bible
Institute holds classes at our outreach center. Donations are used
mainly for maintenance and construction projects. However, we also
see the need to purchase more property for the larger groups that
come. The smaller projects cost as little as $50, while the
purchase of property could be as much as $100,000.

Ensenada
Outreach Center (EOC) Fund
Groups housed at this center built
almost 100 houses for the poor during the past year. In addition,
others worked on major church building projects. The full time
staff is also involved in clothing distribution and breakfast programs
for the poor, plus a clinic ministry and a Christian day care center. Donations are used for maintenance and upgrading of all
buildings. Smaller gifts are welcome, and larger donations could
help with building more classrooms.

Logos
Building Fund
The Logos Bible Institute is located in the Mexicali village of Tamaulipas.
There is also a church that meets in this facility. During
the Christmas and Easter/Spring breaks we use the grounds and buildings
as an outreach center for teams reaching nearby colonies and
villages. Donations are used for maintenance and upgrading the
facilities.

National
Workers Fund
This fund was established to provide
scholarships for students attending the Logos Bible Institute and for
various outreach efforts carried out by Mexican nationals.
Students are not only being trained in the word of God, they are also
seeing the value of taking the gospel deeper into their own
country. Two of the teachers (also graduates) have started their
own mission organization. We need approximately $500 in additional
monthly donations to meet our needs for this fund. Top |
Grace
Bible Institute Fund
Donations provide for the ongoing school
program, which includes scholarships for students, books and meals when
classes are in session. There are also special seminars provided
from time to time given by visiting teachers. This school
(Instituto Biblico de la Gracia) is located at our Tijuana Outreach
Center, between downtown Tijuana and Rosarito. An additional $100
per month would help to meet the expenses for the Institute. Top |
Library
Fund
Both of our Bible Institutes need to buy
more Spanish reference materials for their students and local
pastors. We would also like to purchase good materials available
on computers for their use. A good Spanish computer study program
will cost over $500.Top |
Literature
Fund
We established this fund to provide
study Bibles and books for Mexican pastors and teaching materials for
their Sunday Schools. We have also made evangelistic tracts and
New Testaments available for their outreach efforts. One pastor is
requesting $1,000 worth of tracts to distribute to his own tribe in the
southern state of Chiapas.

Mercy
Ministries Construction Fund
This fund was established to
build kitchens for our children's breakfast ministry and to buy the
needed cooking equipment. We have also been able to provide for
house repairs, such as roofing materials, for the poor. One roof
on a small house may cost $100 to replace. Top |
Mercy
Ministries Emergency Fund
From time to time, we have people across
the border who are not able to pay for needed medical procedures.
Some have not been able to pay for funeral expenses for a loved
one. One pastor's wife needed $700 to remove her appendix.
It is a joy to be able to help out, when the funds have been
available.
