"Then he said to his disciples, 'The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.'"   Matthew 9:37-38

One of the greatest ways to be involved in God's plan for the world is to pray!  Just before Jesus left earth, he gave The Great Commission in Matthew 28:19, telling us to go out into all the world and share the good news.  Furthermore, in Matthew 9:37-38, he tells his disciples to pray for workers to be sent out into the harvest. Clearly, God desires us to partner with him in praying for the whole world to hear the good news. What a privilege!

How to Pray for YUGO

Your prayers have an eternal impact. They provide YUGO with vision and wisdom to lead ministries in Mexico. They prepare and open the hearts of people to hear the gospel. Your prayers are a source of strength for missionaries serving on the field. Your prayers carry a blessing. YUGO Ministries wants you to become an informed pray-er. Prayer Requests

  1. Pray for the Lord to raise up godly Mexican leaders that will have a vision for reaching their own country (and beyond) with the gospel.  
  2. Pray for more Mexican pastors to attend and complete Bible school in order to receive and teach accurate doctrine. 
  3. Pray for the Mexican government officials to be convicted of their sins of corruption & deceit and to seek the truth. 
  4. Pray that the Lord would send more workers to work in His harvest in Mexico.
  5. Pray for each of the 31 Mexican states, a different state each day
  6. Pray for specific people groups (ex: Chinanteco, Huichol, Maxateco, Mixteco, Nahuatl, Pame, Tarahumara, Tzotzil, Zapoteco, etc.). For a complete listing, visit Joshua Project.
  7. Pray for Mexico's President Felipe Calderón. Also pray for good relations between the US and Mexico.
  8. Pray for continued spread of the gospel, especially through training and sending national Christians.
  9. Pray for our Mexican friends here in the states, as most have family living in Mexico.
