There are many opportunities for you and your team at the ROC. Depending on the gifts, passions, and resources of your team, we can find the right fit for you. Explore the list below, but if you have an idea or program, contact us and we'd be happy to see how it could work!Children's Ministry Opportunities - Want to run a children's ministry program for underprivileged children? Why not consider pouring yourselves into the lives of the youngest generations here in Mexico. Let us connect you with a local church and local pastor and run a program for these children. We can help provide you with the materials or come with your own program of crafts, activities, bible lessons, and games.
Sports Ministry Opportunities - Use sports to connect with children and youth of the communities! Organize some soccer matches or sports camps and use these opportunities to invest in the lives of these young people. We will connect you with a local community and pastor and watch the relationships form! As you build friendships and play together, you will also have opportunity to share the Word of God with these kids, teach them about Jesus, and let them know they are not alone. Let us know if this is something for you!
Construction Ministry (Home Builds) - Being able to participate in the building of a home is a life-changing experience! In just 5 days you will be a part of the construction of a home from start to finish. Even if you've never swung a hammer before, our staff will equip your team with the leadership, materials, and direction provided to reach your goal! Whether you are a youth group, adult team, or family team, you will have a powerful week together! These homes provide a safe, healthy place for local Mexican families whose homes are often constructed out of old garage doors, pallets, cardboard & tarps. Families are ministered to, shown the love of Christ in a real way, and introduced to a local Mexican pastor. Check out the media section for an ROC home building video too! Maybe you can't provide the resources for an entire home - there are many other options for you to work on construction projects in the community that will be a blessing!
*SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE - The ROC is offering an exciting ministry opportunity this year. You can now come to Mexico to build a home for a Mexican family in need, even if your church is not sending a team. Come together with others from the U.S. and Canada to assemble a team and minister to the physical and spiritual needs of a local family. Check here for more info!
Mercy Ministry Opportunities - Mercy Ministries programs act as the feet, hands, and heart of Christ to reach Mexican people with the His Good News in a very practical, hands-on way.Mercy Ministries could include ministries such as feeding programs, food distribution, clothing distribution, and medical clinics. Help be a part of feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, and caring for the sick!
Women's & Men's Ministry Opportunities - These men and woman are carrying so many burdens on their shoulders. They too need support, teaching, and times of fellowship. Consider running a program where women and/or men can be ministered to. For the women creating a program that includes crafts, activities, teaching, and prayer times can be a powerful ministry! For the men, organizing times of fellowship and teaching can really impact these fathers and husbands! We can help make arrangements that will best fit schedules, the people's needs, and abilities of your team.
Evening Church Services - During the week, there will be an opportunity for your team to connect with a local church and participate in their evening church services. This can be a really powerful time for your team to experience a new church culture and worship but also a chance to minister and encourage the church community.
